Monette had a baby! 9/20/08

My sister Monette had her baby on Saturday. Her name is Kennedy Ann, how sweet!

Starting to run again :)

Jenny talked me into running the Honolulu Marathon so got just enough time for a 16 week training program. We did a 4 mile walk run a few weeks ago, it was fun. It was the rockin' relay downtown.

C.S. Lewis Narnia Inspiration at Oxford

When I was at Oxford a person told me that this doorway was an inspiration for C.S. Lewis' Narnia stories. There is the lion on the doors, fawns on the arch and even a lampost to the right of this doorway, I don't remember seeing any other lamposts in Oxford.

New Doggie XO-Sonya

Well I think I told everyone but we had to put Thor down the first week of January, he was 13 yrs old. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but he was in a lot of pain and had been for awhile. In other news we got a new dog in Feb, she was abandoned and we got her from a dog boarding place. She is a cool dog, about 2 yrs old. She's a mix of a lot of things, huskie, sheperd, ??? We don't know everything for sure.

Maui Trip

Just got back from Maui and we had a great time. We went to the Old Lahina Luau and had a blast, got some more tattoo work done too!

Road Trip

Just got back on Monday from doing a road trip from SF to Portland. A friend at work bought a bike in San Francisco off of Craig's list so we rented a U-haul loaded up my bike and road both back. It was sweet!

New Motorcycle!

After taking the basic rider training course and agonizing over which motorcycle to get I bought one over the weekend!

It's a Triumph 900 Scrambler! I bought it with 4 miles one it :D Never had anything that new before. It's called a modern classic because it's styled after the 1960's Triumph. Steve McQueen made this one famous by racing them and riding them in movies like The Great Escape.
